Thanks for stopping by. My name is Thony Aiuppy. And beginning this summer I will be starting my own art teaching business. I have worked in traditional educational settings and in museums. With over 10 years of experience, it’s time for me to branch out.
I will be offering the following to students Grades K-12 and adults:
– private art instruction
– group art instruction
– portfolio development for students applying to magnet art programs and higher ed institutions
I will be offering instruction in:
– traditional drawing & painting techniques (observational drawing & classical oil painting techniques)
– painting, drawing, collage, and printmaking (watercolor, acrylic, oil pastels, colored pencils, etc.)
– comics & illustration
– digital art (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Procreate, animated GIFs, digital photography)
– art history

Here’s a little bit more about me:
Thony Aiuppy writes, draws and makes zines and comics when he isn’t teaching or spending time with his family. An art educator for a decade, Aiuppy learns and grows as much from his students with every class he teaches, whether as a museum educator, college faculty, or most recently as an art teach in the public schools. His interests are wide and varied, including southern gothic literature and indie and underground comics. He lives and works in Duval County, Florida.
